It’s been a few months so it seems time for another fashion finds round up again. (Especially with SDCC rapidly approaching!)
- Her Universe debuted two new pieces inspired by Spider-Man for the film’s premiere.
- Prophecy Girl has a fabulous Bazine inspired shirt available for pre-order. The design hits that sweet spot between recognizable nerdy and wearable.
- On another Her Universe note, they’ll be at San Diego Comic Con at Booth 2913-U in addition to hosting the Fashion Show on Thursday. They’ll be debuting some new pieces at the show including the pictured AT-AT raincoat.
- Hot Topic’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer collection is finally available!
- Finally, you can’t go wrong with this adorable Hot Topic dress if you’re a fan of Hercules.
Sneaky sneaky! It looks like Her Universe has delved back into the realm of Marvel with a Spider-man inspired active wear line! It’s fairly similar to the lines we’ve previously seen just with a Spidey spin. (Spin! Did you see what I… never mind.) The active wear cardigan is something new and I’d certainly be interested to see how the sports bra is.
You can shop the collection at the links below. Any pieces on your must buy list?
Have you seen Loungefly’s newest Marvel bag designs? They’ve got some pretty fantastic looking ones and cover characters from Deadpool to Spider-Man to Black Widow. The standouts are probably the Iron Man dome purse, the Captain Marvel duffle, and the Captain America messenger bag.
You can see a selection of Loungefly’s offerings below and shop the collection online.
With all of Her Universe’s success over the past few years in addition to their branching out, it’s been getting harder and harder to keep track of all of their new items! So for today’s post, we’re going to try and sum up everything that you might’ve missed over the past few weeks. Be on the look out for more product releases in the future though as Ashley’s told us that Star Wars Rebels gear is forthcoming and has already tweeted a teaser image of Darth Vader stud earrings!
First up, they’ve been running a fantastic The Walking Dead sale for both Halloween and in honor of the show coming back. They’ve actually got a great selection of items across their fandoms on sale including a ton of their Star Wars stuff. And if you’re a Daryl fan, check out this tank top that I hadn’t noticed before now that slipped quietly on to Hot Topic.
Tis definitely the season for new items though and they’ve been rolling them out over the past few weeks. On Think Geek, you can now stock up for fall and Winter with brand new Star Wars and Star Trek long sleeve or hooded shirts! They’ve also got this AMAZING Storm hoodie that GLOWS IN THE DARK. (Seriously. It’s fabulous.)
Just announced today was this Doctor Who sweatshirt that’ll be available on Hot Topic.
And finally, Her Universe has more new things on the Marvel front. The Xavier’s Cardigan that they first sold at SDCC is FINALLY online on both their site and Think Geek. What came out of the blue was the Spider-man tank which is of similar style to their Captain America, X-Wing, and Boba Fett tank tops.
Don’t forget to partake in their Halloween contest to have the chance to be one of seven winners of a $50 Her Universe gift card!
It’s Marvel Super Hero September and we’re totally psyched to kick it off with style! And how better to do so than with a sweet late summer outfit and some pretty rad stuff that Disney was cool enough to send over.
But first: go ahead and cue yourself up the Guardians of the Galaxy soundtrack, which should probably be playing already because ~reasons~
I <3 Marvel Shirt: Disney Store
Red Skirt: H&M
Black Heels: Ralph Lauren
I do want to make a point about this shirt: Disney sent us an XL, which we had to alter a bit to fit, but I was incredibly impressed with the cut of the shirt. I frequently hear that plus sized ladies have a hard time finding tops that don’t have an incredibly junior cut to them. This shirt looked like a true XL and I honestly think that it’s really great that Disney and Marvel are starting to pay more attention, and aren’t just using the same old shirt sizes and cuts that aren’t really working for all of their fans.
I’m also a HUGE fan of this Spider-Man phone case. It’s cute and the mirror for the eye part of his mask is just fantastic! The only reason my friend didn’t try and steal it right from this shoot is because she has a different phone model…
…. oh, and have a double selfie with these awesome masks they sent us because we’re super dorks who couldn’t help ourselves. Did we take about a million of which most were three times as ridiculous as these? Maybe.
