People sometimes ask me why I switched my allegiance to the dark side when it comes to Star Wars (which is only sort of true because I love characters on both sides). If I had to give an honest answer… it’s because the Empire and First Order’s colors are way more my thing than the orange and olive of the rebels. Black just goes with everything and when you toss in some dark red… *chef kiss*
I’ve been wanting to put together an outfit around this Death Star inspired scarf from Prophecy Girl for a while and today was finally the day. I’m a huge fan of this piece as it’s both stylish and comfy. Also! It comes in both black/white and black/red. What’s not to love?
The print on this dress is possibly my new favorite thing and let me tell you how bummed I am that I could only get it on one thing. We talked about Black Milk Clothing’s recent Star Wars collection in a past Fav 4 post and I ended up getting the reversible dress! I don’t now how often I’ll get to wear it but I’m in love with it.

(Maybe I’ll even do an outfit post with the blue light side side one day…)
I may have accidentally found myself in a Box Lunch store after attending a comic signing this weekend and may have accidentally bought myself some jewelry there that I’d been eyeing online only the week prior. Accidentally. I tripped.
After wearing them around for a few days, I only have good things to say. In addition to the necklace set and the Imperial ear crawlers, I also bought the Rebel ear crawlers in rose gold. The price points ($30 and $17) are perfectly reasonable given the products. The earrings are nickel free and the necklaces are silver plated so they aren’t the fanciest of Star Wars jewelry but they look nice and definitely fall into the subtle category. Even a hardcore Star Wars fan might have to look twice to realize what the earrings are. In my book, that’s a good thing although I wouldn’t have minded if the Imperial cog was a bit more distinct.
Because when you’ve been working like crazy on a Commander Iden Versio costume… obviously you have to make an Inferno Squad inspired dress to wear for the panel you’re running that same day at the con. Or no wait… is it just me that’s that crazy?
