Ask and you shall receive! When Her Universe debuted their Star Trek collection for ThinkGeek, tons of fans expressed interest in a similar collection for Star Wars clothes that could be worn in an office. Today, ThinkGeek debuted that very line! On my must buy list? That blazer and the symbols tank and maybe the ships blouse!
What’s on yours?
Ship Blouse + Artoo Dress + Symbols Tank + Blazer
Artoo Blouse + Vader Leggings + Infinity Scarf
You know what’s nice? When a costume finally comes together the way you want it to. It may have taken me a little over a year but my Seventh Sister is finally done and 501st approved! It just took, you know, over a year and a crap set of hastily made armor first.

Thank you to Haythem of Lafhaj Studios for all of the rad pictures!

They teased it a few weeks ago along side the Spider-Man active wear collection but Her Universe’s second Captain America inspired collection is now available. For the most part, I personally prefer the original collection from last year but they have an interesting variety of pieces this time. This may be the first bodysuit they’ve done. The long leggings are my personal pick for my favorite piece.
You can shop the collection in standard and plus sizes on Kohl’s website now.
It’s been a few months so it seems time for another fashion finds round up again. (Especially with SDCC rapidly approaching!)
- Her Universe debuted two new pieces inspired by Spider-Man for the film’s premiere.
- Prophecy Girl has a fabulous Bazine inspired shirt available for pre-order. The design hits that sweet spot between recognizable nerdy and wearable.
- On another Her Universe note, they’ll be at San Diego Comic Con at Booth 2913-U in addition to hosting the Fashion Show on Thursday. They’ll be debuting some new pieces at the show including the pictured AT-AT raincoat.
- Hot Topic’s Buffy the Vampire Slayer collection is finally available!
- Finally, you can’t go wrong with this adorable Hot Topic dress if you’re a fan of Hercules.
I’ve never had a character call to me so quickly before like Iden Versio. From the minute I saw the Battlefront trailer and the Inferno Squad cover, I was in love. And then I somehow tripped and ended up deciding the very next week to try and have version one of her costume done by Awesome Con. That was in uhhh about a month and a half.
First things first, I owe a huge debt of thanks to my friend and garrisonmate Scott for helping make this happen. I would have been completely lost working on this armor without him. I’m a fabric girl all the way although I definitely learned a lot about the armor process while we worked on pulling this all together. (Sanding… so much sanding.)
On a ‘look at the cool thing we did!’ note, we went the extra mile and made the TIE chest box detachable from the armor since we see her with both set ups in the two trailers we seen so far. I’m looking forward to making some upgrades to this costume over the next few months to make it look even closer to how Iden looks in the trailer.

Thank you to Haythem of Lafhaj Studios for all of the rad pictures! Also thank you to my friend Dale who let me steal him to be my “Dadmiral” (aka Admiral Garrick Versio) since he had on his Krennic at the shoot.
Here’s to hoping that I’ll get to take pictures with more Inferno Squad people in the future once my costume looks even better!
