There has been an awakening and The Force Awakens is now less than two months away! (Do you have your tickets yet?!?) To celebrate the release of last week’s trailer, it seemed only right to wear one of Her Universe’s new pieces released on Force Friday! Fun fact: this was my outfit for supporting my 501st Garrison at a huge event. Apparently this shirt was more appropriate for helping them out than my X-Wing pilot tank…

A couple of notes about the Her Universe shirt. First, the new sizing is definitely different than the old one and seems to run a decent bit bigger. I’m wearing a Medium (my usual size in HU shirts) and it’s fairly loose. (It’s pulled tighter than it appears in the back.) Were I to order again, I’d get a size small in this shirt. Also! The red part of this shirt is actually raised and textured and super cool. (Just ask anyone I was with at NYCC about how cool I thought this was.)
Everyone needs a little more Black Widow style in their life… something that Her Universe and Hot Topic/Torrid continue to team up to make happen.
I really, really like Taylor Swift.
It’s probably a good thing that my friends do, too.
This was supposed to be party gear, fun midnight girl gear; but it turned into one of the ones I loved wearing most. Maybe because 1989, et cie, is on loop forever in the background of our friendship in the best kind of way.
