Okay so you just THINK that you’ve seen this costume before but NOT REALLY. No but seriously, it is. Previously on WHR, I borrowed most of Lin’s costume at the last minute. This year, for the A-Force shoot that one of our friends was planning, I decided to make my own jacket.
And avoid her Canadian torture device of a fleece sweatshirt in Atlanta during summer. After all, how could I not want to make a Miss. America costume after that issue of A-Force #1?

Thanks to all of the other ladies who showed up for the A-Force photoshoot and putting up with a very enthusiastic and slightly bossy impromptu director. (That wasn’t me nope not me.)
Stealth cosplay week? It’s kinda what we do. Our forever fave Jamie McKelvie always kicks it up in urban superhero style, and America Chavez of the Young Avengers is today’s stars&stripes inspo.
Out with the old, in with the new! While we can only highfive Jamie McKelvie for his savvy redesigns, we just can’t let go of Billy Kaplan’s sartorial past quite yet — so let’s tagteam some fashion inspo from everything Wiccan as he starts his teenaged romp through this trendy galaxy photoprint phase.
And, let’s face it — just how perfect is that “Billy” sweater, red hooded and initialed and all. Pretty perfect, that’s what.
Get some mischief done with a bit of style — a younger and sleeker incarnation of your daily self. Taking our cues from Kid Loki, we pick up this season’s emerald with bold black contrasts, accessorise in gold and geometric designs à la horn sigil, and put some trendy urban do-gooder in there to land you fighting on your feet in New York City.
