- Box Lunch released a new line of Mulan themed items (timed with the Lunar New Year) and while they’re cute, my favorite of the bunch is definitely this mini backpack by Loungefly. The pattern is adorable!
- While Rock Love’s entire Black Panther jewelry line looks fantastic, my favorite piece is the talon earrings. Check out their entire collection though especially if you loved the film.
- Musterbrand is, as always, killing it with their Star Wars pieces and I couldn’t be more thrilled that they’re doing more Rebel pilot themed gear because Lin and I are both ride or die for the Rogues and Wraiths. (Be on the look out for an outfit post featuring the cape soon…) This sweater is a subtle nod to the flak vest but those who know will know. They’ve been teasing plenty of new designs on their social media recently so be sure to check those out.
- And finally, we’ve got one more Black Panther piece which really is only appropriate for the month. Her Universe’s Nakia inspired shirt is definitely the standout of their small line.
I believe in love at first sight… when it comes to shoes and believe me, I fell hard and fast for these the moment I saw them at Star Wars Celebration last month. It felt only right to celebrate that new love on May the Fourth. Because reasons.
I’ve got nothing but great things to say about these shoes. I love them. Truly, deeply love them. I had several friends try to steal them from me at Celebration and I, without fail, have someone compliment them every time I’ve worn them since. These are seriously quality sneakers, folks. The leather work is great and it’s impossible not to see all the amazing thought and care that went into the design and creation of these shoes. I can’t sing their praises enough.
As a sizing note, these are currently available for preorder on Musterbrand’s website. I wear a size 9 in women’s and these are a size 40.
Psst: You can get 15% off all Star Wars items with the code ‘SW40’ through the end of the month!
Disclaimer: The Skywalker X-Wing sneakers were given to me by Musterbrand at Celebration. I was in love with them from the moment I saw them.
If you’re a geek girl into fashion, you’ve probably heard of the amazing Catherine Elhoffer before. She’s the talented lady behind the Jedi and Sith cowl dresses over at WeLoveFine and her range of custom geek fashion work is absolutely incredible. (You should check out her Instagram if you’re unfamiliar with her work.)
Right now, she’s got a pre-sale going on for her Rey Resistance inspired and her Resistance pilot inspired dresses! This is a great chance to snag one of her dresses for a lower price than her commissions usually run and they’re both positively adorable. (My finger maaaay be hovering over the purchase button for the Rey dress in grey as we speak…)
So run forth and check out this amazing designer and (just maybe) treat yourself ;)
