There’s nothing I love quite as much as Star Wars. (Shocking, right?) Getting a new Star Wars book is like Christmas for me and thankfully, I’m lucky enough to get advanced copies of most of the books so I can review them for Tosche Station. At New York Comic Con a few weeks ago, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to not only help out at the Del Rey booth but to also cosplay as Roach from Star Wars: Battlefront: Twilight Company by Alexander Freed which hits bookstores tomorrow!
Needless to say, I enjoyed the heck out of the book (and highly recommend it!) and had fun going back to my Expanded Universe roots and pulling together a costume based upon character descriptions and a single piece of inspirational official art. Shout out to the cool folks at Del Rey for making sure I had a Twilight Company patch to complete and jacket and also for teaming up so we could surprise Alexander and have one of his characters on hand for his signing.
In accordance with the never ending cosmic joke that is our luck, Bria’s finally going to New York Comic Con the year that Lin sits out. It’s cool though. She’s got some costumes lined up and, if all else fails, just follow the Star Wars and you’ll find her.
