So how have you been spending your summer? Has it been following a leader with a city sleek look with plenty of firebrand flair. Because we understand. We totally understand.
We’re very (Portlandia voice) put a cape on it! in regards to our fashion philosophies. And you may have heard us all atwitter about some little space thing movie coming out this winter, so consider this me being hauled back to the original brand, with my heart on my sleeve and a dignified business casual headfake.
(Try telling me I can’t wear business shorts. Just try.)
Cape Blazer: Nasty Gal
Death Star Dress: Black Milk Clothing
Shorts; Cuffs: Forever 21
What do we love?
A good cape dress. A good cape blazer. A good cape top–
(And so would Emma Frost.)
Get your smokey eye game on point because we’re serving up some Bucky Barnes style — a run through the comic book ages from his vintage military blues to modern, all-americana. And if you’re still coveting those goshdarn gun tights? Well, we’ve got them served up with a smile.
Welcome to us joyously counting down the days until Captain America: The Winter Soldier lands in theatres for real and for sure. We’ll be saluting the various leads for Captain America Week, so kick back, relax, and get your stars&stripes ready because we’re leaving no man behind.
We’re all about equal opportunity when it comes to Team Hot Dads and that obviously includes Herc Hansen. Of course, we can’t neglect his son Chuck so I’m pretty sure that calls for a shopping list inspired by the Hansens and Striker Eureka.
The look here is pretty simple to emulate: pair a plain grey t-shirt with some jeans or olive military-esque pants, add some combat boots, and then a jacket and you’re set.
And then accessorize with a bull dog. No really. This is crucial.
Nasty Gal T-shirt + Rag and Bone Jacket + Lucky Brand Vest + Old Navy T-shirt
