Have you seen Loungefly’s newest Marvel bag designs? They’ve got some pretty fantastic looking ones and cover characters from Deadpool to Spider-Man to Black Widow. The standouts are probably the Iron Man dome purse, the Captain Marvel duffle, and the Captain America messenger bag.
You can see a selection of Loungefly’s offerings below and shop the collection online.
Sometimes, you gotta sit in a cubicle for the day job that pays the bills but be ready to avenge by night and by avenge, I mean go see Captain America: Civil War after work. And yes, this really is what I wore into the office that Friday! Since I’m the Hawkeye for our work Avengers (long story,) I decided that a few certain touches would be the best way to accessorize.
Avengers Dress: Her Universe
Black Blazer: Express
Black Pumps: Nine West
Chevron Necklace: Bauble Bar
Okay so because I’m me, I wasn’t content with just picking up those three pieces from the Her Universe Marvel work out collection. I promptly turned around and bought the Black Widow sports bra (which is AMAZING) and an Iron Man top and leggings.
I can safely say that the Iron Man leggings are my favorite of the entire collection. You know your clothes are on point when the woman in the elevator makes it a point to tell you that your gym outfit looks so good that it’s worth wearing even if you don’t go to the gym. (True story, by the way.) They used a lot of different fabrics for these and between that and the cut, it all just works.
The top is something I had a strong suspicion wasn’t going to be terribly useful for me on the workout front. It has a sports bra built in but it doesn’t do a great job of keeping things in place. This is something that I can wear for a cycle class or pilates but it’s definitely not going to work for anything high impact. The drapey back was just too cute though and I couldn’t resist getting it! I suspect that it’ll be a ‘lounge around’ shirt for me.
For sizing reference, I’m wearing a medium in the leggings and a small in the top.
So how about it ladies? Have you picked up any pieces from the collection? Have you gone back for more? Are you preemptively sobbing because oh my god Civil War comes out this week?
We’re here to style salute the stars&stripes just one more time with our Captain America: Civil War Week so join us in this fun fashion punch-up while we, as the saying goes, are up all night to get Bucky.
Her Universe just keeps getting bigger and better! We didn’t have to wait very long after the Instagram tease last week for a ton of new pieces to become available. Her Universe has teamed up with Kohl’s to present an Avengers themed active wear line. This is not Her Universe’s first foray into active wear (they have a few Star Wars pieces currently available) but it is a follow up to Ashley’s comment back at Celebration about Her Universe expanding into more physical retailers. (As a reminder, support the brand in the stores if you can because money talks!)
You can check out some of our favorites of the various sports bras, tanks, and pants featuring Black Widow, Captain America, and Iron Man below and see all fourteen pieces over at Kohl’s website or in stores soon!
Is there anything better than superhero fashion? We do plenty of inspired street style around here but these fabulous new comic book designs by Suckers Apparel take superhero fashion to a whole new level. These designs are definitely geeky without being overly on the nose about it. You can check out some of the designs they’ve made in the picture below. In particular, all of the Hawkeye dresses, the Carol Danvers dress, the Batgirl leggings, the Wonder Woman leggings, and the Saga caplet are fantastically well done.
Seriously, we can’t get enough of this collection! Go check it out for yourself and perhaps add some geeky flair to your wardrobe.
