All this new Harry Potter related news has definitely got Hogwarts on our minds! That, of course, only ends one way: high fashion Hogwarts! So check out these four looks that remind us of each of the four Houses: Gryffindor/Dolce and Gabbana, Slytherin/Christian Dior, Ravenclaw/Balmain, and Hufflepuff/Herve Leger.
We’d apologize for doing a third inspo post for our favourite White Queen but we’re not actually sorry. Emma Frost is just such an awesome character to mentally dress in the world’s high fashion because she’s someone who actually wears this sort of thing when she’s not on the run or going through one of those unfortunate phases where all she wears is black or her superhero costume.
We’re start off with this look by Proenza Schouler with its plunging and barely there neckline and all!
We’ll keep with the suit theme with this more conservative suit from Ralph Lauren for the occasions when she does need to go with more traditional business wear.
She’d be all over this Alexandre Vauthier; jacket, dress, and all!
Season Three of Game of Thrones is well underway and with it comes the inevitable question: What would these noble houses wear if they were to dress themselves in the high fashion of our world? House Stark is one of the easiest to pin down due in great part to how far north Winterfell is. They would tend towards darker and more muted colours including their House colour of grey. Fur would be another constant for the Starks because Winterfell is cold on the best of days and Winter Is Coming.
We’ll start things out with an outfit by Carolina Herrera that basically sums up what this post is going to be.

You’ve heard that Winter Is Coming, right? What better way to combat a very cold day than by curling up with something warm yet stylish? Herve Leger has you covered.
Of course, there are bound to be a couple of warmer days during the long summers. It’s okay though because Marni has them covered with some slightly less winter-warm looks. The mandatory fur stays though.

We’re headed back to the wonderful world of Harry Potter! Slytherin House is still where the Sorting Hat placed me so here we go with another high fashion collection of looks that they might wear. The criteria for picking looks from the latest 2013 shows was fairly simple. The colour palette of green, grey, silver, and black was a given as was the occasional snake print look. As for the rest… well, we’d be spoiling things if we told you!
We’ll start things off with an adorable dress by Carolina Herrera. Green and Grey are just what Salazar ordered!
Many of the members of Slytherin House are from pureblood families that are coincidentally rather rich. They would definitely have closets well stocked with fabulously tailored clothes of tweed and plaid like these looks by Zac Posen and Calvin Klein.

Navy and silver and white seem to be in this season which is just begging for a Ravenclaw inspired post even if the Sorting Hat did put us both in Slytherin. And hey, we may be rather partial to black but we don’t discriminate against blue and navy. So check out some of the fashion pieces we found that gave off that Ravenclaw House vibe.
Well, you can’t keep us completely away from black so let’s start with this cute coat from Desigual!
I’d apologise for this next dress from ASOS but it is the most Ravenclaw thing I have ever stumbled upon that wasn’t a Hogwarts uniform. Navy, feathers, and lace? Yup. That’s So Ravenclaw.
Heading out to a fancy dress party for work? Maybe these two dresses from Little Mistress and River Island might fit the bill for something cute yet Ravenclaw.
