Get in losers, we’re going to Hoth! (How many times can I make that particular Mean Girls joke? THE LIMIT DOES NOT EXIST.)
It has felt like Hoth here recently but, conveniently enough, Her Universe released their Leia vest! Admittedly, it’s a little thinner and less substantial than I’d hoped it would be but that does help it make more versatile and wearable in spring and fall. It’s comfy and while it might be a literal piece, it’s subtle enough to get away with wearing to work which is always nice.
Hoth Vest: Her Universe
Black Sweater: Express
Empire Strikes Back Bracelet: Love and Madness
Black Pants: Max Studio
Tall Boots: Dr. Scholls
AT-AT Backpack: Amazon
It’s nice when a company finally makes a piece you’ve been asking for for literal years. I just really love Padmé and the Naboo Handmaidens, folks. While I’m not huge on the color as it’s a little uhhh… sweeter? than my style usually tends, I do love how the piece looks. (Lin referred to this as “this pastel aesthetic that is such a hard left from the Bria Lookbook” when I sent her the pictures.) Just like with the skirt, the crest is subtle enough that most people will just think it’s a neat pattern. The Naboo fans though… we know.
Naboo Cardigan: Her Universe
Black Sweater Shell: Express
Floral Skirt: H&M
Black Pumps: Nine West
For sizing reference, Bria is wearing a Medium in the cardigan.
Give me all of the Naboo things. All of them. This latest skirt from Her Universe hits the sweet spot for me between geeky and subtle. At first glance and even at a second glance, there’s not much overly obviously Star Wars about it. It just looks like a very pretty landscape. It would take an eagle-eyed fellow fan to spot Anakin and Padmé amongst the art or to recognize the Lake House. In short, I am a big fan.
Naboo Skirt: Her Universe
Tropical bandeau: Express
White Button Down: Express
Tan Heels: Gucci
For sizing reference, Bria is wearing a small in the Her Universe Naboo skirt.
As a note, you can buy this skirt either from Her Universe directly or from Box Lunch online or in their stores if you have one nearby. If you’re concerned about sizing, I’ve found it to fit similar to the lightsaber skirt from several years ago. There is no give in the waistband.
I have a Hux problem. I also have a military jacket problem. (Un)fortunately, they combined and I got peer pressured into buying this jacket a few months ago. Actually, it turned out to be a great plan because I really love it and now, because you all know how this goes… an outfit post.
Military Jacket: Zara
Faux Leather Leggings: Express
Also… HI MILLICENT <3
Look, I LOVED Rogue One a stupid amount and while I may have ended up with a Cassian Andor Problem, I also really liked Jyn because HEY GIRL I get you and I also don’t care to smile frequently.
I won’t lie and pretend that I wasn’t thinking of Jyn when I bought this jacket a few months ago because I totally was. It may not match the shirt/vest combo she wears but it just felt right. The rest of the outfit came together from there. (Just pretend those are kyber crystals on the necklace.)
Olive Jacket: Express
Blue Shirt: Express
Gold Necklace: BaubleBar
Black Pants: Max Studio
Booties: Cole Haan
