Daredevil Season 2 premiered last week or, as I prefer to call it, WATCH OUT ELEKTRA IS HERE Season 1. (It was so good, you guys, SO GOOD.) Anyways, in typical White Hot Room fashion, that got me wondering what Elektra might snag for herself from the recent runway shows. The conclusion? These looks from Akris, Alexandre Vauthier, Cut25 by Yigal Azrouel, Elie Saab, Saint Laurent, and Ronald van der Kemp.
Katsucon is rapidly approaching and that puts us in a magical girl mode so therefore it only makes sense that we’re doing another Sailor Moon inspo post. We look at the high fashion runways and consider what some of our favorite characters might wear from those catwalks.
This week, we’re going to take a look at one of the Inner Sailor Scouts and ask: What Would Sailor Venus Wear?
We’ll start with this Sophia Kah that’s perfectly chic while still reminiscent of her fuku.
It’s hard to go wrong with Christian Dior especially when it’s in your signature color.
This Lela Rose might be a better choice for Minako if she’s going out to a fancy event instead of some of those more… interesting 90s choices.
This Hermes look is a bit on the casual side of Venus but I could see it happening.
Speaking of casual, this Gucci walks the perfect line between casual and chic.
Because we hate to go against tradition, we’ll end with this Elie Saab gown.

We’re continuing our celebration of Widow Week with the question we always like to ask here at White Hot Room: Would Would Black Widow Wear? But first! Black Widow #1 is out in comic stores everywhere and available for digital purchase today so go get yourself a copy and read it! We’ll wait.
Read it? Enjoyed it? Drooled over Phil Noto’s art? Okay, good.
A former Russian super spy and now a staple member of the Avengers, the Black Widow is a lady that you remember (unless, of course, she doesn’t want you too.) Gorgeous and lethal, no one rocks black quite like Natasha Romanova. Elegant would be a good word here.
We’ll start off with this fantastic jacket by Atelier Versace.
If there’s one thing that a top notch spy has a lot of in her wardrobe, it’s elegant little black dresses and Natasha definitely has those in spades. Either of these Oscar de la Renta dresses might make an appearance in her closet. (It’s definitely the addition of the black leather gloves to the dress on the left that sell the entire look as Nat!)

We’re flying straight back to Westeros and the nations beyond as we ask what yet another Game of Thrones character would wear from today’s high fashions! Today, we’re focusing on Daenerys Stormborn of House Targaryen; Khaleesi and Queen of the Seven Kingdoms and a heck of a lot of other titles I won’t repeat here because I’m not Ser Jorah.
Dany is one of the characters with a more varied look. We first see her as a princess in exile, then as a Khaleesi, and then Queen without a country who fights in whatever arena she must for her people. It’s resulted in us seeing her in many different fabrics and styles which means this post was fun to pull together without the limitations of colours and/or plunging necklines.
We’ll start with this effortlessly flowing dress by Zuhair Murad.
While we didn’t get to see the typical Qartheen gowns on the screen, this dress by Reem Acra certainly invokes the asymmetrical bare-breasted look that makes them so distinctive.
Of course, we can’t neglect her heritage as the heir to House Targaryen with these two looks by Vionnet and Valentino in its colours.
