It’s always handy when fashion trends work in the favor of the fashionably-inclined geek girl. Lately, there’s been a heck of a lot of chevron everywhere which is reminiscent of, or at least to the Hawkeye fan’s eye, arrows. (It also helps that arrows seem to be in vogue too!) Bauble Bar, an online jewelry store that stays on point with current fashions, has kept up with the chevron and arrow craze. They’ve got some pretty cute pieces that would be perfect for any fan of the Hawkguy. (Plus, they’ve got free shipping!)
Infinity Arrow Ring + Love Struck Pendant + Chevron Vinyl Bracelet

Street level, but not quite street style. A feminine flair with some busy city edge, nothing says Kate Bishop like urban chic and luxury casuals. Whether it’s combat boots for superhero hijinks, off-duty model camis by fashion week darling Alexander Wang, or cozy knits for downcast days — big city style is just like waking up on the right side of the bed and knowing how amazing it is to be you.

Missed out on Hawkeye Week? No worries, we’ll have you caught up in no time.
Find the Hawkguy “Things I’m Great At” top here in a variety of styles and sizes!
How great are we at boats? … not very. But you might be, and who are we to say no to that. After numerous inquiries about my customs tank from Hawkeye Week, we’ve decided to make the design available online.
Update: We’ve made the “Things I’m Great At” top available here!
Clint Barton isn’t great at many things, but he’s got a few skills nailed down — “I’M GREAT AT BOATS” became something of a rallying cry for my nears and dears during NYCC 2012, so I designed this tank in fond memory of. Flying a geek flag on the low-low? I’m totally profesh.
We’re channeling a full-on Hawkguy here, but with a stylin’ uptwist. We got the beanie and the smell test wifebeater and the Converse hightops — street level beat-em-ups with a blazer thrown on, and always with the purple.

It’s Hawkeye Week, bro. In honour of the new story arc debuting this week, we decided to fly our purple pennants — so check back in with us every day as we class up this joint like Kate Bishop, party like Tracksuit Dracula, and make embarrassingly coordinated kitchenware like Clint Barton.
Now you, too, can make embarrassingly coordinated kitchenware like Clint Barton.
Wrong again, Clint.

You’ll need:
- purple mugs
- porcelain/ceramic paint
- painter’s tape
- paint brush
1. Wash your mugs. Follow the paint instructions for prepping the surface.
2. Use painter’s tape to create an H stencil on each mug — it’s one of the easiest letters, so it’s faster this way. Don’t forget to compensate for curvier mugs by tapering off. Make sure the tape is securely affixed.

With painter’s tape. | Brushing on the paint. |
3. Carefully paint inside the stencil. You might need to do a couple of coats.
4. Allow to fully dry and then peel off the tape.
5. Cure according to the paint’s instructions.
6. Dream big.

Notes:
1. Porcelain markers are also widely available if you want a quickie job.
2. Porcelain/ceramic paints are generally not food safe — just ensure that the paint is comfortably far enough from the lip of the mug. Always check the warning labels of the paint you use.
3. Having a hard time finding purple mugs? Mine are super cheap-o from here.
