Tan is not my color palette and neither is cold shoulder my style thing so honestly, I’m not entirely sure why I bought this Rey cardigan a year or so ago BUT I DID. And it is comfy and cute. And hey it works for work! (This is another one of those ‘yes I actually wore this to the office’ outfits.)

Oh hey we’re back! Aaaaand just pretend not to notice that these pictures are from the fall because there is no way I’d be going outside in February in short sleeves. So yes, we’re back from our unannounced break and my goal is to try and bring you a new outfit every week.
I absolutely adore this shirt from Prophecy Girl which channels Bazine Netal from The Force Awakens. It’s undercover nerdy and different from what a lot of the geek fashion world is doing. Plus? It’s work appropriate! I’ll definitely be buying more from them in the future.

We first mentioned these a few months ago but have finally gotten a chance to do a shoot with the skirt! For Celebration 2015, Her Universe debuted two dresses featuring Cloud City and the Battle of Hoth. This fall, they collaborated with ModCloth to feature both as skirts in a similar cut to the lightsaber skirt but shorter. And, of course, because I had to get one because I’m me!
The skirt’s made of a silkier and lighter material than the original lightsaber skirt but I’m definitely a fan! It can be worn with or without a petticoat. (In the pictures, I’m wearing one.) I’ve worn it two or three times thus far and am definitely want to find more excuses to wear it.

If you hadn’t seen it already, Kohl’s recently debuted a really neat Rogue One inspired collection. I swung by one of their stores a few weeks ago to check it out (and tweeted my experience with the entire collection) and ended up buying a few pieces. A holiday brunch was a great excuse to wear the jumpsuit for the first time!
