If you haven’t seen Megarinri’s inspired fashion sketches on tumblr, then you have definitely been missing out! Today’s outfit is based upon her Robin design. I’ve been wanting to put this outfit together ever since I first saw the sketch and today was the day! I may not be the biggest DC fan but I’ve always been fond of the various Robins and so doing an outfit inspired by them just felt right especially since it definitely gives off a Young Justice!Robin vibe.

So check it out, somebody’s got neptune hair. And what better way to show it off than to… put it into a bun so nobody can see it?? Alternately, just channel oceanic royalty by putting wings on your feet, showing some skin, and flirting with ALL THE BLONDES.
For those keeping score at home, this is good ol’ retro king of the sea. I like to think we are all brothers and sisters of the booty short clan.

ALRIGHT LET ME PLAY YOU OUT
BOOTY

If you’re a geek girl who hasn’t heard of Her Universe yet then allow me to introduce you to one of the greatest online shops for geeky t-shirts! Ashley Eckstein, the voice actress for Ahsoka Tano on the Star Wars: Clone Wars, started the company several years ago after noticing the distinct lack of Star Wars t-shirts for women. Since then, she has expanded past Star Wars and now features shirts with designs from Star Trek, Doctor Who, Battlestar Galactica, and several other SyFy properties.
This year, I was especially excited for October to roll around because not only would I be drinking pumpkin spice lattes and breaking out my boots but I would also get to bring out my fabulous Her Universe Halloween tote bag!
And here’s a close up of the bag since the lighting was not cooperating with me:
Even though this bag has a very limited season, I still love carrying it as often as possible. It’s great for just tossing my wallet, phone, a book, and a sweater into and going! This Katie Cook design is cute, fun, and almost always gets compliments. It’s also one of the easiest ways to get into the Halloween spirit.
While the Halloween tote bag I have was a limited edition, you can still get an adorable Her Universe seasonally appropriate bag. Starting today, Her Universe is offering a brand new Katie Cook designed bag for Halloween 2012! They are likely to go fast so head on over to the online store today to check it out. (The bag has Darth Vader in a unicorn costume. Just try and tell me that’s not awesome.)
We interrupt your quasi-regularly scheduled comic book posts to bring you a Star Wars inspired outfit! I was going through my closet a few weeks ago when I came across this top and it suddenly hit me that it was perfect for a casual Winter Celchu streetwear look. The look is inspired by an outfit she wore in the Thrawn Trilogy comics. I actually made a costume version of this that you can see here.

And just for fun, I took a picture with my white wig on too!
In anticipation of The Avengers release, I decided to pull together some outfits that were inspired by characters from the film, but that I could also go to class in without looking like I was trying to walk the runway. Sadly my Captain America earrings didn’t make it there in time, but that didn’t stop me from throwing my best salute!
