[FF] Force Friday Fashion

Have we all recovered from Force Friday yet?  Yes?  No?  Enough to start shopping for some fashion?  (I’ve never been more thankful that I’m not into toys so I can throw all my money at fashion.)

Her Universe, obviously, had plenty to offer.

The First Order tote bag is actually reversible so you can show your allegiance to either the First Order OR the Resistance depending on the day.  Unsurprisingly, Ashley Eckstein has designs that feature Rey and Captain Phasma.  On my wish list right now is the Rey/Finn sweatshirt and the First Order t-shirt.  (Although who am I kidding: I’d wear all of this!)

ForceFriday_WeLoveFine

WeLoveFine, as per usual, has a decent amount of options for both men and women.  I predict that the BB-8 and Captain Phasma shirts will be popular as will the newly released Sith dress.  I can’t decide if I’m disappointed or relieved that they only had the Jedi dress at their booth at Dragon Con because I definitely would’ve bought both if they’d had them!  (And yes, you can expect an outfit post with the Jedi dress in the weeks to come once I have a chance to style and shoot it.)

ForceFriday_HotTopic

Hot Topic introduced a little bit of variety into their shirts with a mixture of pieces like the BB-8 and Force Awakens tank tops, Kylo Ren Raglan, and Captain Phasma and Rey high-low shirts.  The Boba Fett dress appears to be a new Her Universe piece that I’m not sure was a part of Force Friday but certainly came out close to that date.

While SuperHeroStuff also has neat shirts for both guys and girls, what caught my eye were their scarves and the wristlet and envelope wallet!  (I needed that BB-8 scarf to be in my closet yesterday!)

ForceFriday_Fabric

For those of us who prefer to be a little more DIY with our geek fashion, both JoAnn Fabric and Hancock Fabrics released a ton of new Star Wars fabrics.  The ones pictured above are just the cotton fabrics but there is definitely a wide selection in both flannel and fleece.  As a note, some of these appear to be exclusive to the different stores.

This is hardly the be all and end all of The Force Awakens merchandise.  While there’s nothing particularly noteworthy for women’s fashion, the Disney Store certainly has plenty of TFA merchandise.  The Cover Girl collection that we previously covered is available for preorder and should start appearing in stores soon.  Additionally, Irregular Choice has announced that they will have some rather unique heels and flats available soon.  Loungefly, which already has some cool Star Wars bags, looks as if they have more Force Awakens styles in their future soon.

And, if nothing else, just head over to your local mall, Kohls, or Target.  It seems like everyone is getting in on the Star Wars fun!
